About Us
My name is Savannah- the creator and owner of Mommy MilkMaid! I am a Registered Nurse certified in maternal and newborn nursing and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I started working in the newborn/maternal arena about 8 years ago truly by accident. I picked up a shift on my regular unit and then was floated to the mother/baby unit. I never dreamed that day would be so transformative, but day one- I fell in love. Ever since, my passion for this industry has grown tremendously. In my career, I have worked to build my knowledge and experience to be a strong pillar of support for my patients. I like to say- my specialty is getting you started on the right foot in your newborn journey.... I will support you in whatever direction that journey takes you. I truly love educating and supporting women and caregivers to feel empowered about the decisions they make for their infants and themselves. With that being said, Mommy MilkMaid is here to bring you all the education and support you need in your journey as a woman/caregiver/new mom. I will be providing feeding and lactation support, fresh newborn education, and a sprinkle of women's health education! KNOWLEDGE is POWER and if Mommy MilkMaid has anything to do with it, you will not just be supported/
educated, but EMPOWERED!

In-Home Postpartum Lactation Consultation
You are doing enough in this newborn journey, let Mommy MilkMaid come to you. In-home lactation visits start with initial consults and then proceed to follow-up visits as necessary. Visits will consist of assessment, education, and hands-on support for you and your infant. Together we will identify your unique needs and come up with a game plan!

Prenatal Lactation Consultation
You do not have to figure this out yourself, let Mommy MilkMaid help you get on the right foot in your newborn journey. Prenatal lactation consults are virtual. Mommy MilkMaid will provide you with the necessary education and support to help you feel empowered to take the next steps. Together we will address all of your questions/comments/concerns and develop a game plan for the start of this beautiful newborn journey!

Virtual Postpartum Lactation Consultation
Mommy MilkMaid will be there for you, no matter where you are. This is an opportunity for you to access lactation support from anywhere. Please be advised that these consultations work best for those that are needing less hands-on and more educational support/minor adjustments in their newborn journey. Together, we can define issues and strategize a game plan for improvement!
